I do, and yet I do not.

I see you, and yet I do not see you.
A wisp of spring both
Defiant and radiant
Moving across the mind
Like images tumbling along
    a brook and fades.

I hear you, and I yet I do not hear you.
An instance of playful words both
Childlike and alluring
Spoken as with the moving sun
Rising from the darkness of the night.

I love you, and yet I cannot love you.
